Android: Manually sort categories in a list

Manually sorting the order of your categories allows you to personalize how they appear in in each of your lists.

Let's do some sorting:

1. Open any shopping or pantry list and head to the overflow menu (3 vertical dots on the right)

2. Select Manage Categories

3. Hold the grippy symbol (6 dots) next to the category you would like to relocate (if it darkens, it means you held it for too long) , drag it to your desired location.

4. Rinse and repeat for all categories in that list as needed. in the order that you choose. Once you've got your categories where you want them, return to your list to see it in action!

Heads up!

Re-ordered categories affect only your current list. Deleting a category will remove the category as an option from any of your lists.

Now that you'd got your categories in the correct order, how about adding a little color?

Item in the wrong place? You may need to re-categorize them.
