Per list vs global Category deletion

Every category can be removed on a per list basis or removed globally across all your lists. There are several ways to do either, so check out how:

Remove Category from a specific list 

Option 1

1. On a Shopping or Pantry list, tap on the category header of the category you would like to change.

 2. On the edit category page, select DELETE CATEGORY

3. Select Only the name list and then DELETE

Boom. Done. 

Option 2

1. On a Shopping or Pantry List, open your overflow menu by selecting the 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner.

 2. Select Manage Categories 

3. You'll see a trashcan next to each of your list's current and previously used categories. Select the trashcan associated with category you're looking to remove. Nobody likes Vegetables, so we're removing Vegetables.

4. Select "Only the name list" and then DELETE

 An apple a day keeps the doctor away. No one said anything about kale.

Delete a Category permanently from all lists on an Account

Option 1

1. On a Shopping or Pantry list, tap on the category header of the category you would like to change.

2. On the edit category page, select DELETE CATEGORY

3. Select Every list and then DELETE

 Hasta luego Veggies.

Option 2

1. On a Shopping or Pantry List, open your overflow menu by selecting the 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner.

2. Select Manage Categories

3. You'll see a trashcan next to each of your list's current and previously used categories. Select the trashcan associated with category you're looking to remove. 

4. Select Every List as one of the top clickable options and press DELETE
